The modern rooms here are cozy and feature three tables for two, along with a nice touch of including fresh fruit.

We really enjoyed the hotel and its freshly cooked breakfast.
The location was particularly GOOD and decent: the Christmas market and a little market were within walking distance.

New construction, small hôtel, good service at the front desk, clean room
No parking, you can see That the construction is new but the building is old. You can feel the wave on the floor in The hallway. Rooms are a bit thigt, very small closet, no bar or restaurant. The hotel is open but Still in construction.

Location / Condition / Modern
The worst aspect of the Comfort Inn is its inadequate breakfast room. There are about 12 chairs in the room to cater for 39 guest rooms in the hotel. The breakfast room was invariably unsupervised by any hotel personnel. The cooked meal ( scrambled eggs and bacon ) was absolutely unappealing. Plastic cutlery provided was obviously the cheapest and poorly designed that could be possibly purchased. On some mornings there was no milk available. We were disappointed and disenchanted with this seemingly makeshift breakfast room.

Worst place ever to stay in, poor value for money, room tiny, walls paper thin, can here neighbours talking through the walls and having showers. Complained about noisy neighbours at 12:30am. But noise continued til 3. Rooms were poorly cleaned and no bath room amenities after first day until the night before we left. Coffee perculator not cleaned out before we checked into the room and had to complain as coffee and mugs were not replaced everyday unless you went looking for them.. Breakfast in tiny basement room and at 9 sharp you had to leave and carry unfinished breakfast to your room. Lift didn't work most of the time. Staff not warm or friendly.

Friendly and extremely helpful staff, comfortable beds, faultlessly clean and well positioned. Only a ten minute walk from Dundas Square and the Eaton Centre. Coffee bars, Delis and other eateries are within yards of the Hotel on the corner of Dundas and Jarvis.
Breakfast runs from 0600-0900 in a tiny room in the basement. Whilst the times may be suitable for business guests who are required to attend 0900 meetings, they do not suit tourists visiting Toronto and it is my opinion that breakfast finishes an hour too early at 0900. The breakfast room had only three/four tables and was stifling due to no air conditioning. The room closes at 0900 and is locked, guests cannot stay in the room to finish eating but are allowed to take food back to their rooms.

I liked the reception staff who were very helpful and friendly. Also the bathroom was well decorated, the beds comfortable and the internet reception good.
I didn't like how all the communal areas were like pre-heated ovens, not just warm but stiflingly hot - from the corridors to the breakfast area. It was puzzling. The breakfast was not brilliant (too hot to sit in the dining area as well) and so I boycotted it on the second morning. I appreciate that it is meant as a complimentary breakfast but I went to Starbucks instead.

We waited two hours past check in time to get our room. It was very dissapointing as we had dinner and show reservations and had to cancel them. No refund was even offered. Nothing was done for us at all.

All in all everything was great, had a nice stay for a 3day vacation. The breakfasts were fresh with nutrition value and bacon, as for instance and the staff were affable, did not rush us. Very central location was a plus.
